Appeal for Flood victims in Pakistan

13 Sep

According to the United Nations emergency aid service around 20 million people are affected by the floods in Pakistan. 1,600 people lost their lives.
The extent of the disaster is enormous. The number of people affected is compared to other natural disasters are exceptionally high, says the UN.
Even if the water level goes down it will take a long time before people get to normal life. Their crop is destroyed. Homes, schools and clinics are badly damaged or destroyed.
In this situation, it is extremely important to set a sign of solidarity. Therefore, the German-Indian-Pakistan Forum (DIP-Forum) eV is collecting donations for the reconstruction of a social project in Pakistan. The DIP-Forum is a nonprofit coalition of Indians, Pakistanis and Germans, who maintain an active cross-cultural understanding.
